Startup Open, a competition that searches for startups with the greatest growth potential, revealed its GEW 50- 50 of the world's most innovative new companies. Congratulations to NVTC member company Confident Governance for making the list. Bhavesh Bhagat, co-founder of Confident Governance, is a December 2009 graduate of The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC FastTrac® TechVenture™ program. He participated in the program with his company Encrisp LLC, another startup he co-founded.

Aligned with Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Startup Open competition drew hundreds of applications from more than 60 countries that were judged on concept, growth projections and knowledge of their industry. The winner of the GEW 50 can win an all-expenses-paid trip and VIP delegate credentials to participate in Liverpool's Global Entrepreneurship Congress in March 2012.
